Masterworks is proud to announce Joshua Whitehead will once again be starring in its upcoming original production, Lily and the Gypsies. Joshua will be dancing the role of Joseph in the ballet October 7th and October 8th at the Sandler Center. Joshua has been a featured performer on the acclaimed docu-series, Breaking Pointe and is currently a demi-soloist with Salt Lake City’s elite ballet company, Ballet West.
During the 2014-2015 season of Ballet West, he performed in numerous productions including The Nutcracker on tour at the Kennedy Center in Washington DC and The Lottery On Tour at the Joyce Theater in New York City and the Royal Theater, Victoria, British Columbia, Canada.
Joshua is taking a sabbatical of sorts from the company to return to the Academie de Ballet, the school he trained in as a young man to guest perform with Masterworks, the ballet company where he spent years honing his craft before heading west.
